Free Books!

I recently moved, and discovered that I had a great many books sitting around that I shall never read again and have no desire to keep around. While normally I would just donate them to charity or turn them loose via bookcrossing, this time I thought I'd first check to see if anyone else wants them.

So, here's the deal: I shall post you any one book from this list for no cost at all. If you want more than one book, I would appreciate it if you contribute a little to postage, approximately $2 for each additional book in Australia, and $5 for each additional one sent overseas (I'll actually weigh the stack and work out how much it costs). Obviously, If you're someone I know in real life, I'm happy to dump all these on you next time we meet up. Almost all are in pretty good nick, many bought at second-hand or discount stores.

The first list then (in no particular order):

• William Goldman - Magic (movie tie-in edition, abridger of the princess bride)
• Robert Swindells - World-Eater ('Benedek' written on the cover, but otherwise fine)
• Janet Evanovich - Motor Mouth (Alex Barnaby #2)
• Arthur Golden - Memoirs of a Geisha (movie tie-in edition, somewhat battered)
• Melanie Rose - Down to Earth
• Dava Sobel - The Planets - Mum
• Naomi Novak - Victory of Eagles (His Majesty's Dragon #5)
• Terry Goodkind - Sword of Truth books #2-7

If you'd like any of these, stake your claim in a comment below. First in gets the book. Then I'll email you to get your postal address and your books will be on the way as soon as Catherinely possible.

I would like the Memoirs of a Geisha and the Naomi Novak one if there still available :) Also if you're getting rid of any classics I'll take those... If I take enough of your books do I get the bookcase as well lol

Sure. I'll put them into your lolly bag for the party. :)

And no, you don't get my bookcases, but I might be putting some classics up in the next few months as I clear the backlog of books I have yet to read.

Sure. I'll bring it to uni tomorrow and you can collect it from my office whenever. (I'm trying to wrangle us a cheap room in an awesome hotel at the moment, so I haven't forgotten that we're going away this week.)
